Fear Not

“After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.” Genesis 15: 1 (KJV)

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41: 10(KJV)

Dr. Kayode Adeleye started this sermon by sharing scripture documented in the book of Genesis and Isaiah. He explained fear as an impending danger aroused by a certain reality that happened or has never happened; he further explained that fear leads to doubt which can take the peace of God from a believer and encouraged all Christians to put their hope and trust in God, who is able to overcome all trials and tribulations that may trouble us.
