Nations and People Under Darkness

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” Isaiah 60: 1-2 (KJV)

Pastor Olawale started the sermon by sharing scripture documented in the book of Isaiah. He explained that God wants to remove darkness from his people and nation and wants to elevate us into a pure christian life. He made us understand that God is looking for men who will shine out from darkness and stand with him in righteousness and so we must arise to the call of God.
